Alright. I'll be honest. It's great, but I think you need a darker contrast for when you shade your characters, the quills seem shaded well enough, but for clothing as a reference, it seems too light.

The line art could also use some work; the hands on Zitos are a little out of proportion on the left pic of him. The green part of his fur as well must have the brush strokes following the way that the quills flow as well.

On the right pic of him, his left eye pupil seems bent in a bit,and it makes his eyes look flat rather than a curved surface.

The last thing that bothers me is Ichiro's muzzle on the bottom pic of him; it just seems strange to me, but that's my opinion.

It's still a really nice pic, but if you want to focus more on detail next time, these are the things you should watch.

lol...I know most of the problems...due to a rush project. It was not what I wanted, but what I got for being lazy with. this is one of the pics i really would love to remake...but I would much rather work on something new first. Thanks for your opinion all the same tho...Without people to give advice, how would one improve? If you can think of any other hints for newer stuff to try let me know.

Ah yes I can think of some advice to give you.
When you work on your quills, add just a bit more shading to them, that way they can look more round rather than something that looks flat and 2 dimensional, but it honestly doesn't matter, there is great art out there that is 2d, although it's just not my cup of tea.
